This project, called the “WildWays Wildlife Challenge”, includes the following:

| Professional wildlife/conservation education lectures and programmes presented directly at the requesting school’s premises or at various participating private nature reserves and wildlife farms. Hands-on wildlife presentations that will include different live animals are also available. | ![]() |
| Hands-on wildlife presentations that will include different live animals are also available. During the past 12 months, more than 50 000 pupils and teachers have been reached with our presentations. Numerous lectures and presentations at corporate and business functions, seminars and conferences have also been done. |
|
| 2. National Interschool WildWays Wildlife Challenge (click here) | |

A national interschool wildlife knowledge competition, based amongst others, on the wildlife information included on the wildlife Trump cards (see below), will take place towards the end of the year at a participating host school. |
| Apart from the national exposure that the participating schools will receive, lucrative prizes will be presented to the winning school teams. | |
| 3. National Interschool Wildlife Photography Competition (click here) | |
| Participating schools will launch a wildlife photography competition where pupils will enter their best wildlife photographs in three main categories: 1. Animals, 2. Nature/landscape and 3. Nature: Artistic. |
|
The best images will be selected and exhibited in the photo gallery on the DJANI Wildlife Projects website (each school will receive a separate gallery). Towards the end of the year a national winning school as well as individual winners will be selected for each category by a professional panel of judges and awarded with our sponsored prizes at a gala wildlife evening. |
|
| 4. WildWays Wildlife Trump Cards (click here) | |
| Become a Wildlife Expert while having fun! "FIELD GUIDE in a BOX" Our unique WildWays Wildlife Trump Card Series, containing exact and extraordinary wildlife information on more than 180 different animal species (including mammals, birds and reptiles), are distributed at half the retail price directly to schools and also via our online shop. |
|
More than 12 different wildlife games can be played with a single deck (combine the nine (9) different trump title decks and play 15 games). Playing of these wildlife card games guarantees unequalled wildlife education while having fun and being entertained. It is exrensively used to train game rangers and nature guides. The cards have also proved to be excellent teaching aids, not only for Biology/Natural Science, but also in the language classes. |
